The Siskiyou Golden Fairgrounds is proud to host the Tony Nicoletti Memorial Jackpot Show for Junior Beef Exhibitors on Mother's Day weekend each year. Since 2010, the jackpot has brought in exhibitors from all over the Western United States and in 2013 the 10th DAA Board of Directors changed the name to honor the late Tony Nicoletti who was instrumental in getting the jackpot established in Yreka. Tony was a firm believer that livestock kids need events where they can compete and build lifelong relationships with others in the industry. The Tony NIcoletti Memorial Jackpot Show is one of the preimer junior livestock shows on the west coast and the many community partners that support it keep it that way. The show begins with a fitting contest on Friday, the open Jackpot on Saturday and followed by the local show on Sunday, which includes a Mother's Day Showmanship contest for all the moms!!
